The Quiet Book

This quiet book was taken from two different patterns.
A Simplicity and a Burda. I took the pages from both books that I liked best.
The front has a plastic cover so a photo can be added as the cover art.

The front page is a peek-a-boo.
The hands cover the face and then open to show the cute baby face.

This page is a flower vase on a table. Each flower unbuttons.

The house is a puzzle. The roof, front, and side are the puzzle pieces.
The car door opens and closes.
The butterfly is made with satin and organza. It's wings make crinkle sounds.
The ear of corn zips open and closed.

This cute laundry page is made from retro reporduction prints.
The clothes come off the line and can be stored in the laundry basket.

The mother bird is made from a velvety fabric and the nest from a fake fur.
Open the nest to see her eggs. The little boy has a messy room. Put him to bed under the covers.

Inside the dog house the little brown dog lives.
He comes out attatched to a leash so he won't be lost.
The apples on the tree come off.

This cute little kitty is made from minky fabric.
And the leather pocket holds a notebook and a pencil for drawing.

These two pupppets are tied into the book with ribbons.

This rockin' shoe has bright red laces to practice on.
